What is the size of your dance floors at each facility?
We have expandable dance floors to fit the size of your party as follows:
  • • Woodbury Jewish Center can expand up to 1,800 square feet.
  • • Temple Israel can expand up to 1,450.
  • • Temple Beth Torah can expand up to 1,450 square feet.

What is your Rabbinical Supervision?
  • • Morrell of Woodbury is Glatt Kosher, exclusively under the Vaad of Flatbush.
  • • Morrell Caterers of Lawrence and Morrell Caterers of Melville are under the
    strict Kosher supervision of Rabbi Steven Moss.
  • • Morrell of Woodbury can provide Glatt Kosher supervision at both
    Temple Israel of Lawrence and Temple Beth Torah of Melville.

Do you provide catering other than your 3 venues?
Yes, we are willing to go anywhere whether around the corner or out-of-state in
order to bring you the boutique food and service we provide in our facilities.

I would like to hire a bridal attendant. Can you help with this?
Morrell Caterers offers many unique services - one being our "Personal
Private Butler". We employ professional butlers that will cater to your every whim
on the day of your event. Our butlers are trained to bustle your wedding gown,
take the gifts from your guests, ensure you are comfortable and literally pamper you during your entire party.

I am planning my son's Bar Mitzvah and am not creative at all -
where can I turn for help?
Morrell Caterers will help plan your event from the smallest detail to the
largest. We will accompany you to the florist as well as present a multitude
of ideas for you to choose from. We are party planners as well as fine
caterers, and we delight in having a hand in helping make the process
towards your event a pleasant and stress-free experience.

Do you have to be Jewish to host a party at any of the Morrell facilities?
We can accommodate every diverse ethnic background to hold a party or
event in any of our catering facilities. However, you must be Jewish to
get married or be a Bat/Bar Mitzvah in the sanctuary.

Do I need to be a member of your temples to have my affair with you?
No, anyone can hold an affair in any of our venues.
